Is this Heaven?

Is this Heaven?

Seeing a family having the time of their lives celebrating some of the simple joys of life fills me with joy and inspiration. There is so much more to the beach that people long for. Today I saw a little boy who was seeing the ocean for the first time. He just stood in awe and wonder at the sight that was before him. "Wow, is this Heaven, Mama"? were his words. There is no price that could be paid for such a moment as this! ~ Dorothy Murfin

The beach as seen through the eyes of a child reveals it's true self - heaven on earth. I have had the privilege of taking children and adults to the beach for the first time and it is has always been a gratifying experience.

Living in the mid-west I meet many people who have never been on a beach vacation or seen an ocean. I enjoy helping people plan their vacations and give them advice and strategies on planning the best experience for themselves. Family beach vacations are my favorite to help with because I know what a special bonding experience it can be for the parents and children.

The ocean and the beach have always been such a big part of my life it is amazing to experience it anew with someone who is seeing the waves crash on the shore for the first time ever.

Thank you for sharing your beach-therapy experience with us today. It made me smile.
