Coronado Island, California

This beautiful island is located just off the coast of San Diego. You can take a ferry service over from the main land or simply drive on the bridge connecting the two. Hotel del Coronado is located right on the beach and has an interesting history. It has been used as the backdrop for many movies. The beaches are magnificent and the though the water is cool it feels great on a hot day.
