Coronado, California

I really love Coronado Island. It is a very wide beach so even when a lot of people are there, it doesn't feel crowded. The Navy jets fly overhead, which is fun for the kids...like VERY low as the base is right there.
It is a bit of a walk to the bathrooms, but a very pretty beach and great town. Can be crowded in the summer (the town).

There is also a dog beach area at the very end of the strip of beach (closer to the Navy base) this is fun when we take our dog, and we sit on the border of the regular beach area and dog area, so less dogs.

ANyway, we love Coronado!
