Allegro Cozumel All Inclusive Resort
The Beach at the Allegro OccidentalWe chose to stay at the Allegro Cozumel based on its location on the three mile long stretch of San Francisco Beach and the great deal we got. It is a huge all-inclusive resort and you can stay there for a fair price, provided you don’t go in the height of the winter or spring seasons. The rooms reminded me of a fancy Super 8 to tell the truth. They are very small and a little out of date, but very clean and completely adequate if you aren’t going to spend much time indoors anyway. As with most all inclusive resorts, the food was average but plentiful and the drinks were a little watered down unless you tipped your servers. Sitting on the beach and having the waitress check on us every hour was well worth the few dollars we spent in tips. This resort has completed its post hurricane rebuild and reports are that it is even better than before.If you are considering a similar trip I highly recommend using the Tripadvisor website to read more recent reviews and to compare the Allegro to their sister hotel.
